From the nursery to your yard. Let our recommended independent planting crews help your new trees feel right at home.
Delivery, digging, soil amendment, staking and strapping, and cleanup are included. The crew will also apply Mykes if you purchased it at the nursery.
Includes one call to 811 for public utility locates. Difficult access or digging conditions may affect your final price.
Your tree or plant is placed next to the planting site. You take it from there.
Delivery does not include digging, setting the plant in a hole, staking, or removing the wire basket. Difficult site conditions may affect the price.
Planting and delivery are provided by independent contractors. You’ll pay the planting company directly on your service day.
Pick out, tag, and pay for your trees at the nursery. Once they’re paid for, you can schedule your planting day.
Take home our free white flags and place one at each exact planting location. If you have more than one tree, label each flag with its size and variety.
Within 24 hours of purchase, email your invoice and photos showing the entire route from the street to every planting flag to trees@frontrangeplanting.com. Include gates, steps, retaining walls, and other obstacles for access approval.
Have flags in place and access open at least two weeks before planting. The planters arrange public utility locates; you must arrange a private locator for private lines beyond the meter. Ask the nursery for contacts. Do not move planting locations after the locates are completed.
After the crew approves your photos, they’ll plant on your scheduled day. Routes are planned the day before. Expect a call about 30 minutes before arrival; two-hour windows aren’t available because site and digging conditions vary.
Pay the independent planting company at the time of service. They accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Credit card payments carry a 3.25% processing fee.
Email your invoice and access photos after purchase to avoid being rescheduled.
Set your flags, unlock gates, and keep pets away from the access route for utility locators.

The planting price includes one call to 811 to mark public utilities. Public locators mark up to the meter. Lines from the meter to your home or outbuildings are private and must be located by a private locator. The nursery can provide contacts.
Have your flags in their final locations and access open for the two weeks before planting. Locked gates, dogs, or missing flags can require another visit. A $25 fee applies each time locates must be recalled; incurred locate-company costs are the homeowner’s responsibility.
Do not move planting locations after utilities have been marked.
Repairs to private irrigation, sprinkler, low-voltage electrical, private electric or gas, septic, and well lines are not included. Customers are responsible for these repairs.
Pay the independent planting company on the day of service. The nursery and planting companies invoice separately. The planters accept cash, checks, and credit cards; credit card payments carry a 3.25% processing fee.
A $100 cancellation fee applies to plantings or deliveries canceled or rescheduled fewer than five business days (Monday–Friday) before the service date. This fee is payable to the independent planting company doing the work.
The planting companies are independent contractors. If a tree or plant dies within six months of planting, they will cover 50% of the per-tree or per-plant planting price, but not less than half of the planting minimum.
The replacement must go into the same hole. A new planting location is charged at full price. There is no guarantee for planting charges on trees that die after six months. Delivery, Special Access, and Difficult Site charges are not guaranteed.
The tree or plant guarantee is separate. Read the nursery’s plant guarantee.
